CN Train Location Updates Sept 2024

OK, BCOL C44-9W #4642 was spotted on "Heritage Units" (by Railfanner313) at 11:46 a.m. today, September 7th describing "Sitting in Moterm tied down." Now, does anyone here know how long these units will be at Moterm? Is there easy access for pictures? I presume the engines are buried in the yard. When will they depart on a train? It would be cool to see one of two remaining Red/White/Blue BCOL C44-9Ws!!!! (below are posts about this unit from Friday night)

Lite power with a SD70M-2 and a BCOL passed the Charlotte cam heading EB at 6:50 (Ish).
Edit: Took the wye at Durand at 7:53. Going to Pontiac?

20:20 - SB CN 8867/BCOL 4642 between Gaines and Holly on the Holly sub. Light power move. They came from Battle Creek

18:50 - EB K501 with CN 8867/BCOL 4642 - light power move - will take the Chicago Wye and go SB in Durand, spin at Milwaukee Junction and go north to Moterm - by Charlotte cam

E251 Swapped power with the intermodal train, Now the BCOL is on E251.

That 119 just went past MP 22.5 at 5:45 pm passing Amtrak 355 in Bloomfield Hills. Two CN GE's and a long train, all single stacks, not one double stack that I saw. Odd.

- CN 8867/BCOL 4642 were picked up at Moterm by E251. E251 departed Flat Rock with CN 2235/CN 2256 which was exchanged for CN 8867/BCOL 4642. CN 2235/CN 2256 will lead an X119 out of Moterm for Roberts Bank, British Colombia.

Yup, had to leave Ferndale around 6:15 p.m. I never saw IC 1038 or BCOL 4642!!!! Too bad they switched engines on E251! I wish I was here around 2 p.m. Man, I could have seen the engines backing up to the train with BCOL 4642!!!! Man, I'd love to get one of two remaining Red/White/Blue BCOL C44-9Ws!!!!

I saw, around 4 p.m., the end of a southbound as we (Mom (Susan)) arrived in Ferndale! This must have been train 508! I saw X119 with the two CN engines and Amtrak® 355! Oh well, hopefully soon a there will be another chance to get one of two Red/White/Blue BCOL C44-9Ws!!!!

M302 parked at Olivers Yard in South Bend. Desk 10 needed em to relieve L521’s crew and finish their job and yard their train. Today L521 had tow to work Kingsbury and Stillwell too.

Anyway M397 is stuck at McKinley waiting for track to clear. M302’s crew is almost done yarding L521 and then will get back on M302 and try to go east for a while.
