See, I figured you were in town with you posting about L301 in Zeeland, and a red bicycle parked in the middle of your driveway. Thought you were inside hiding from the Chessie Chapter admin. was cool to see my first mullet CSX unit, and always good to see GP30M4216!

L301- 03 @ 16:37 eastward reported by the Defect Detector mp CG44.2 Pearl, Mi with 112 axles. CSX engines #4053 + #4082 & 25 cars. He’s going directly to the Grand Rapids Terminal.

I saw L301-03 westbound coming into town as I was leaving town. Once I got to my destination I called the seed store next to the train tracks and had them go outside and look and see what was going on and report back to me then I reported on RailRoadFan.com.

L301-03 @ 17:15 eastward reported by the Defect Detector mp CG19.1 Zeeland, Mi with 113 axles (+1 error). CSX engines #4053 + #4082 & 25 cars. He’s headed into the Grand Rapids Terminal. He had returned with the same 7 cars loaded with ballast that he had gone westward with earlier today.

L302-03 by Howell at 19:40 with 130 cars and a slew of Ogihara scrap gon empties near the front end but could not read any of the numbers. 3177+258 elephant sytle on the head end. L305-03 also picked up three Ogihara scrap loads today. ZVBX 625775, 16027 & 97011 I believe were the cars.

Yesterday M510 had quite a string of ZVBX empty gondolas as seen on the Deshler cam. Counted about 15 empties mid train and 5-10 near rear end. Probably the same ones you saw today

He is headed to the east end of Wells Siding mp CG41.4 to add his power behind the leader engine on C801-01 loaded coal train that had tied down there Oct 2nd with BNSF engine #8421 & 129 loaded coal cars & rear dpu BNSF engine #6237 & took the train to the power plant in West Olive, Mi.
