CSX GRE MQT Train Location Update 8-27-08

1 MOW truck at the GRE, 371 air?. A short cut of inbound Kings and 1 Amway? from CSX. 119 pushing 371 again today.

I believe it was X500 going through Zeeland at 7:35. Why is it when you hear a whistle and are in a hurry to get to the tracks you end up behind some clown who doesn't realize the gas pedel needs to be pushed down to make the car go????!!!! By the time I got there all I saw were empty auto racks which made me believe it was X500.........

p370 ran an hour late last night by approx 1045pm
e445 lite power to plant by 1130pm
d700 followed main to siding at 1155pm
at that time a n903 was by st joe heading for wells with pushers
enroute to wells
327 arrived at approx 115am - all stop at east waverly, waiting for
z627 to clear holland, departed on high green at 125am - 76 cars
d700 went east siding to main approx 10 mins later
e445 went east approx 430am with eastern empties
x500 went east at 735am - look for a hudsonville meet with p371 if on
time
during the early morning hours the pushers went to wells to wait for the n903
going by st joe, per conversation heard sounded like that would be the second n903 or 910 to the plant

x500 was the train you tried to meet -
and yes about traffic thru the back road along the tracks in zeeland
posted at 30 , should be min 35, alot of the cars drive at 25 or less, i know the feeling you had

If X500 was that early, it must have been 326 I heard blowing through Grandville about 10-15 minutes ago, unless X500 got held up in Hudsonville for a while. Whatever it was, it was a gevo leading.

EDIT: And yet another train rolling through Grandville right now at 9:10.

See Zack! I guess CSX wishes you a happy birthday too! Was helpin a friend do some yard work at her new house near Ivanrest and heard nothing. Although I did get a great view of those storeaged autos now that the sleds are gone!

Q327-26 Single C44-9w 18 cars @ 15: 15 stopped at the yard office to pick up new speed restriction order looked like dayes of old when they picked up orders on the fly then took northside track and pass X500 with CP 8812 headed east bound @ 15:30. before all this had G824-24 with SD70 and Helem Leasing SD40-2

Did you catch Q392 it was supposed to be going around 327 @ Stark Rd. Heard it on my way back from Detroit I ended up catching the E.O.T of 327 and X500 in Plymouth.

yep was shocked to hear it. Q216 went by first then saw the green light at hines it was Q392. CSX is working at Ekles or just east of it.
had a work limit from Hines to just passed Ekles guess they were replacing ties or something so Q327 had to wait for Q392 and D745 before they could head west. Think they had track one out of service today
