Happiness is.......

Happiness is, running into an old railroad friend several years after he has retired and picking up right where we left off. I've been blessed with two of these situations this summer. First one was an old GTW engineer I knew very well in the late 1970's.early 1980's.(Used to ride with him all the time). Second one was my old buddy from Nichols tower and BO tower 'till he retired in 1992. I was there for his last night at BO and that was his last night on the RR. Sure is great to see these childhood heros again.
I'm all "VerKlempt" .... Talk amongst yourselves......

Happiness is...
Watching the origianl CMGN GP38's and U23's pull around the Port Huron wye in Durand before backing a 100 car train into Durand Yard :)
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...

Happiness to me would be Red or Yellow Ford Ranger 4x4 and a long drive down the West Coast ie California, Oregon, and Washington.

List of things needed for happyness.....
1. Pickup truck (preference on Chevy but Dodge is acceptible)
2. Cooler
3. 12 pack of Corona (Bud, Bud Light, Amber Bock, Killians, Guiness, and even Bud Light w/ lime are acceptible)
4. 1 extremely hot chick (preference on a farmers daughter. YEEEEE HAWWW)
5. 1 corn field w/ clearing DEVOID OF TRAINS!!!! Pay attention to detail!!
6. Nice summer evening around 65 degrees with maybe just a few scattered clouds
7. 1 blanket
8. Country music
9. Dukes of Hazard horn!!!!!!!
