EPIC Fail Ramp Jump
I've noticed a new slang term called "epic fail" and I think I figured out what you young guys mean by it. Watch this video and let me know if I got it right...

That about sums it up.
"Remember, 4 mph is a couple, 5's a collision!"

Holy cow!
"...and I was in the front and Matt grabbed and pulled my ears from behind me and made horsey sounds."
Re: EPIC Fail Ramp Jump
I always thought it was just a lack of common sense. Epic Fail to me is a demolition crew attempts to blow a building explosives don't go off so everyone goes into the building to find out what went wrong and then the explosives go off.

I feel for the guy on the bike, i've done that before! I was going 30 or so being towed by a car though!

Re: EPIC Fail Ramp Jump
I still think he never learned how to ride a bike. Tell me how you miss a 3-4 foot wide ramp? He never ever developed enough speed to even get to the top of the ramp.
Re: EPIC Fail Ramp Jump
It's probably a good thing he didn't - if he was standing in the water at the end of the video that water wasn't very deep! (and he was near the end of the dock) Had he made it up the ramp and come down head first he'd probably break his neck on the bottom after entering the water at speed. Or on the ramp. Or the pier. Etc.hobojim wrote:I still think he never learned how to ride a bike. Tell me how you miss a 3-4 foot wide ramp? He never ever developed enough speed to even get to the top of the ramp.
Pretty much no matter what that was going to end in pain. Better a "fail" jump than a "Darwin" jump...
Epic stupidity might fit...

I've ridden a bike into a lake on purpose numerous times, if you hit the water wrong, you'd better be wearing some anatomy protection.
