Amtrak Photo Ban
Re: Amtrak Photo Ban
I very recently took the Late for Sure Limited to Chicago then rode the SW Chief to Kingman AZ. I took pictures on board and on the platforms, no one said anything to me. Info with the ticked even mentioned bringing along a camera to take pictures of your trip.

This whole thing is really no big deal; just a "CYA" move. I'm with trainjunkie47 on this one.

Well..if this is true..we have no place in Port Huron to sit and watch trains..Port Huron is owned by CN; East Lansing by MSU, but the immediate platforms are owned by CN. Niles and Jackson stations are owned by Amtrak. All the immediate platforms on the Amtrak Line (including Kalamazoo, much to the city's chagrin) are company property, obviously. Likewise all of the Chicago Union Station facility, Niles Yard, 14th Street, Brighton Park, and Beech Grove.

Re: Amtrak Photo Ban
I don't think anyone local at CN realizes it. Amtrak just leases the building and grounds from them. Shhhhhh
