6:15pm: CN 391 shows up but waits its turn to do a drop off and pick up in the yard, with a GT GP38 leading.
Around 7 I decided to head out so I could get home before dark, but I did see the Flint local leave Durand yard with some cars.
I know that Zack and some of the others stuck around, so if you are reading this guys, fill me in on what I missed.
This has been my Durand report!

The coloring in the first shot is interesting -- looks sepia-toned, all except for that one red light in the RR crossing signal.

I didn't change the color tone for that pic SW, I just timed it just right to get that early sunrise picture, where it turns out just right.

Re: Durand report 4-18-09
Anyone know what cars 500 handles from Flint to Durand? It seems to me another through train could handle those cars.

Re: Durand report 4-18-09
Thanks, Steven. So it handles auto parts between Pontiac and Flint. There's a parts plant in Pontiac still shipping by rail. I wonder if some of those go east? A through train from Flat Rock would pick up in Pontiac and take them to Durand where 500 would pick up and take to Flint where another through freight would pick and take east.he had mainly auto parts for pontiac and a couple Durands.
