Also, while in New Haven cruised down to the CF&E yard and caught SCRF 6412 coupled to CF&E 3886. Heard the SCRF 6412 was coming to the CF&E also but finally saw it. Also, at the CF&E Piqua yard were SCRF 6415 and IORY 4036 coupled to NREX 5587? On the way out of New Haven on St. Rt. 114 we caught BNSF warbonnet 784 on a NS coal train in the siding on the eastside of New Haven. Not a bad short railfanning juant. 8)

I believe it was ATSF 784 I saw the other day in Chesterton leading some random NS unit. I believe it was an eastbound coal train.

Fix that. BNSF #784 was leading NS 9585 and a unit Ethanol Train.

BNSF 784 was the middle unit bracketed by 2 NS units which thwe 3rd unit was an SD70-2? WB with a coal train in New Haven on the siding waiting to go through Fort Wayne. NS must be getting some hours out of the BNSF 784.

I like how they assume it will go back on 63T just because it came in on 62T. Ya know cuz thats the only train that runs out of Wayne and all.

NS 8100 (NKP Heritage) went east on 14N through Toledo 10/28 mid-morning:

At Vickers: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mdharding/ ... hotostream

Also in town, the CNJ heritage unit was used by a Maumee yard job to drag a grain train down to Maumee on 10/27. They pulled it into the new yard but there wasn't a clear alley to take it back to the yard office so they left it tied down on the lead behind Meijer in Maumee (and it was still there last someone I knew checked on Sunday).

NS 1069 VGN Heritage on a grain train in Toledo:

Last night the 55A in Bellevue came and stuffed their empties in the Stanley Secondary in Toledo and then the power was used this morning to go fetch loads from Ottawa Lake, MI on the Clinton Industrial. They brought those down with the VGN in the lead and tied it down on the west edge of the UT Campus around 0830 this AM. With empties waiting to go up and being a busy time of year for the elevator I doubt it'll sit for more than a few hours before they put another yard crew on it to finish bringing it down to Toledo Yard and I bet that power stays on as road power for the grain train when it heads east out of Toledo. Right now, it's cloudy over Toledo and sunny west of town and doesn't look to be improving for this immediate area despite the weather liar's club forecast.

And now they've tacked on a GEVO and dragged it down to the yard with an outbound crew on duty

Just saw NS 1071 Heritage Unit at the Anderson's in White Piegon. Going out on grain extra tonight. Unit is in lead going westbound with 8033 and 1005 tied on to the rear. Unit is parked behind the stone piles east of the grain plant.

The Wabash heritage unit is in Bellevue today and rumored to head west on the NKP later but it doesn't look like it'll leave the yard until after dark.

NS 8105, Interstate unit, delivered a coal train to the Detroit Edison Trenton(MI) Power Plant on the afternoon of Jan 20, 2013. Power than went light to Fordson Yard in Dearborn, MI to pick-up an empty hopper train that earlier this week delivered coke to Severstal Steel. Train should leave sometime tonight to go south. The 8105 will be leading.
