GRHC - you know every night I can imagine he is in front of his computer screen sitting in his underwear swearing profusely and drinking Blatz beer combing the RailRoadFan website for grammatical errors.

I tend to believe its the trespassers that are filing the suits.
Here's a novel idea. Lets institute some real tort reform. Lets make it so that when some *umb *uck is engaged in an act of which they are aware of its illegality, that they assume 100% risk for anything which may happen to them.

Re: CN POLICE REMINDER!!
The LORAM crew crossed the tracks at East Lansing to go buy lunch at the QD. I guess that doesn't count, though.
Seriously, anyone who's been there knows that there's a wide and well-beaten path from the platform to the QD parking lot at the easternmost boarding point (the wooden platforms that let people get out to the train if it happens to be on the service track instead of the main). I see people crossing there virtually every time I visit. I've never seen a CN police officer there.

I've never seen a CN po-po there either when I walk across the tracks to go get ice cream
That being said, I've seen my fair share of IDIOTS crossing the tracks right in front of me when I come in for the station stop; I keep waiting for the day when somebody trips over the rail while holding a coffee and a donut and running back to get on the train.....
