Re: Anybody taking pictures of signals
Since I first posted this thread, my brother and I have gone to Fostoria and other places taking pictures. He's really into photography and has helped me learn to take pictures. Not all the shots I took have been keepers but I got some really good shots. Plan to open a Flickr account and post some there.

I make sure to get older signals in my photos, as their days are numbered.

Probably a good idea, because if you didn't include the photos, there probably wouldn't be any shots.CG Tower wrote:I try to include photos in almost all of my rail shots...

Glad I got a nice picture of that engine last May, as it was just recently repainted!Jochs wrote:I make sure to get older signals in my photos, as their days are numbered.

And now you'll have to redo that shot for a "before and after."

Alot of us are determined to shoot Godfrey from a few angles at night before it goes timberrrrrJ T wrote:And now you'll have to redo that shot for a "before and after."
According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.

Re: Anybody taking pictures of signals
Hurry if you don't want the possibility of safetrans nearby. They put up at least one, but maybe two more masts at the west end this week. Have not gotten a closer look yet. I have not gotten any views of the east end, so there could be another one or two down there as well. We'll see, but my money is on a codeline-free Summer 2014.AMTK55 wrote:Alot of us are determined to shoot Godfrey from a few angles at night before it goes timberrrrrJ T wrote:And now you'll have to redo that shot for a "before and after."

On that note there are new dwarfs being installed at Plaster Creek.

Safetran dwarfs? Didn't see that coming. Was hoping for masts so it is easier to see. Oh well.SD80MAC wrote:On that note there are new dwarfs being installed at Plaster Creek.
