Looks like it could be around Lambertville. A lot of the roads in the area have split rail fences as shown in the picture. I just can't quite find the right spot.

6923 Ridge Highway, near Britton (according to Google), but it looks like the location is actually on the south side of Ridgeway, west of Britton.

So this is in Akron. Nice guess, Pixl.

I've been to Akron twice and recall the Cooperative Elevator's metal bins but don't recall this one. Can you tell me something about it? It looks like they load bagged beans. Who operates it? What kind of traffic do they ship? Any idea how many cars they ship?
Didn't we go through Akron on the first DBC&W road rallys? I thought the DBC&W diamond was southwest of this elevator. The Tuscola County map on Dale's site shows the DBC&W grade cut from southeast to northwest through Akron.

Here's a link to the Google earth view of the map.

Unfortunately, that's all I know about the facility.

Here's a good one. But I know it'll probably be easy.

There used to be a MI Dept. of Ag website that gave detailed info about every grain elevator in MI. It listed one elevator in Akron (Cooperative) and three in Fairgrove (ADM, Cooperative and Star of the West). The elevator in your picture looks like one from Fairgrove. Since I don't get around there very much just thought I'd ask.

Looks a lot like Grand Traverse Bay, tracks leading up into Leelanau Co. Pulled up about 20 years ago.

EDIT: I see he says the tracks are still in. Hmmnn....

Can I try another attempt Michael? Location wise I might be a little broad but how about the Lake State along Lake Otsego south of Gaylord?

Nope. In fact, it is not on the Lake State at all.
