Earlier: Q327 was taking their Restricting indication at Waverly around 07:45.

As of 10:30, D702 is switching Zeeland. There is one empty centerbeam at Z Lumber to pick up. Not sure if they have other work to do.
D702-23 @ 11:01am eastward reported by the DD at mp CG19.1 with 84 axles & 1,1183 feet long. CSX engines #6394 + #2762(?) & 19 cars.

Reported by the DD mp CG91.9 with CSX #3229 leading with 444 axles & 5,876 feet long. If there are 2 Consumers Energy locomotives having 6 axles each, axle math works out to be #3229 + 3 & 105 cars.

D70523 3280 543 751 by Plymouth @ 10:10
By Howell at 11:28 with 161 cars. Crew talking to MofW at Fowlerville and identified themselves as D70522, after I thought they finally advanced the train by one day. At 09:58 yesterday, Can't Be Shook said this train was called at 1am but still not out yet and evidently took another 20 hours to get out. First 75 cars looked as if they are Ann Pere cars which is just what Lansing needs as they cant get cars in and out of Ann Pere as is.

Regarding my 7:54pm post yesterday on the woe's of D708, on what they may do after setting off 69 cars in the Brighton pass that belongs to GLC, the answer was "none of the above" as they went back to Lansing power light, and then died at Williamston due to two vehicles being on the tracks and one in the ditch near Dobie Road. This in turns means the 82 cars GLC sat off on Tuesday still still sits in the Howell siding, the 25 cars GLC sat off after are still in the transfer, and the now 20 cars left in the Ogihara run around all still just sits there while the 69 cars for GLC sits in Brighton unable to get to Ann Pere. GLC crews needs to qualify on CSX between Brighton and Trowbridge because quite frequently of late is where GLC cars are parked because CSX cant get them in and out of Ann Pere. And today is just another day on the farm with D705 bearing down on Lansing about the time D708 gets called.

Tom, you’d better wait until Bangor to speculate on this one. I think it had 3 CSX locomotives and 2 Consumers. The Consumers are 4 axle. Not sure about the 3rd CSX. As you know, I have a very narrow view of the tracks from my office window.

Q326 cleared the St Joseph Bridge at 11:55am. The cams at Bangor are off line, but, I can see the live video feed from the cam control web site. It's the interface that sends the cams to YouTube that is having issues. Bangor cams back up at 12:18pm & in time for Q326 & Q327. Q326 by Coloma mp CG77 at 12:12pm & Q327 put his engines into Saugatuck after helping out D801-22.

That 3rd unit might be replacing 3065 on the Helper set with 817

EDIT: I don't think a GP38-2 is going to be part of the helper set

Per Bangor chat, E80022 is on duty up at West Olive. Q327's power is at saugatuck doing some assistance, and q326 just went east by Bangor with two motors for Consumers Energy:

Probably a silly question, but is it safe to say those Consumers units will be coming off at Waverly, and NOT coming all the way to Wyoming?

Had heard the Dispatcher on the scanner telling Q326 he will be running straight thru to Grand Rapids. At 1:09pm, Q326 had gone into Grand Junction siding waiting for Q327 to pass. D801-22 is holding the main at Wells with loaded coal cars & both Q327 & Q326 will have to loop around D801 by going thru Wells siding.

This D801-22 with only half of the loaded coal cars. The other half were left out on the main at Wells siding between the East Absolute & West Absolute signals.
Q326-23 @ 3:13PM eastward is diverging into Wells siding at mp CG43.3 to get around those cars. The DD at mp CG44.2 @ 3:08pm had reported "No Defects, Detector Out" with no axle or footage data. Q326 was moving too slowly over it (there is a minimum speed requirement for the HBD systems).
