There is usually not much going on for Michigan shortlines on the weekends.MQT3001 wrote:Where is everybody?

As of 9:13 tonight, there was a clear signal at the south end of what was Blackmar, siding. Not sure on the train. very good chance of it being coal empties coming south.

Z127 usually runs down to Flint in the evening also.Evan wrote:As of 9:13 tonight, there was a clear signal at the south end of what was Blackmar, siding. Not sure on the train. very good chance of it being coal empties coming south.

As for your question in the other thread, I'd expect the next E945 within the next 24 hours.

Did it ever occur that maybe, just maybe, there are those of us out there who aren't railfanning every second? When someone sees something, they'll post it here if they want. Until then.....MQT3001 wrote:It was more poetic than "bump"Evan wrote:Pointless post.MQT3001 wrote:The sound of chirping crickets fills the air....

In one of the posts nearer the top of the thread, Evan mentioned Bridgeport. I would guess that these updates relate to Bridgeport. I can't imagine ~Z~ not knowing where Bridgeport is, but for anyone else, it's north of Flint and south of Bay City (about 5-10 miles south of Saginaw, give or take.

Evan should at least put Bridgeport as his location in his user profile, then.
