Student. I go to class and complete assignments to be turned in. Studying business administration. Fun stuff. When I make money instead of spend it, I work in my school's dining hall, washing dishes and taking care of the salad bar (stocking it, cutting fruit, etc.). Someday I hope to graduate and make more money than I spend...theoretically (what with the rising cost of model railroading equipment and all...)

Sell building maintenance service (janitorial, lawn care, snow removal, etc.) for a regional company headquartered in southeastern Michigan. I get to travel a little bit and work with some people who directly or indirectly handle transportation services for their companies.
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...

I repair all the gages that the operators break, calibrate all kinds of really boring stuff with funny names (profilometers refractometers... ) I also do first piece inspection and final inspection as well as whatever my boss says.
Oh yeah and I also participate in plant gossip and political strugles.(not by choice)

yea its manual, yup T-300, no sleeper, no fancy gizmos, no CB, (i bring my own), not bad for a straight truck, we had a T-300 for our semi, but when we went against the wind with an empty load you wouldent do more than 50 down hill, so we up graded to a T-800 for the semi, its like a warm knife cutting butter. Michigan Kenworth and PAC lease has been good to us tho when we get break downs. Really nice guys over there.pics of the trucksA1 RailFan wrote:AHH sounds great to me. Dat thing has a manual right? Didn't think Kennworth went below the T-600 or T-2000.i995impalass wrote:Drive a Kenworth T- 300 and do delivers. Chris
