Hi Guys,
I'm in need for an antenna that has good range for the car. My Scanner is a Uninden BC75XLT.
Any Company Brands for a car antenna you guys suggest?

Just about anything is better than the rubber ducky antenna. I hooked up my scanner to a magnetic mount CB antenna I had around the house, and it worked fine. It's not cut for railroad frequencys, but still works great.

Couple questions to consider:
1.) Do you plan on leaving the antenna up all the time?
2.) If so, do you frequently park in a garage?
If the answer is neither or you don't park in a garage, this is the best antenna to get. http://www.railcom.net/railscan.htm
If you have to have a shorter antenna I've known of good results on the rail band from the Maxrad MAXSCAN1000. I don't personally have one, but it's on the list of things to get.

With that one you'll have to buy a mount too.

I always like the radio shack window mount antennas, they had a pretty good range on them.
