If Delay In Block Productions was to host a photo freight run on the Little River Railroad this winter, would anyone be interested in participating? Through DIB, I am considering sponsoring a three to four hour event with run-bys of 110 at specific locations between Coldwater and Quincy. The consist would be 110 and five to six freight cars, plus the caboose. I plan on having several classic cars show up at various crossings along the way, along with a few classic 1940s vintage tractors. The cost of the event would be between $250-150 (or less) per person, depending on how many people purchase tickets.
We also have the potential to make this a double header run, but we would need to have enough interest in the photo charter to go forward with such plans. I have several classic car owners interested in participating in the event. There are several private spots that I know of where we could pose equipment. The Little River's pricing is high to do such a charter because they've been screwed doing events like this in the past. If enough people are interested, the price will go down. There are several private spots that I know of where we could pose equipment.

I hate to say it, but that cost is way to high for my blood for just a run by for a few hours.

It would be a lot more than one run by, haha. Like I said though, the more people, the less the cost will be.12Bridge wrote:I hate to say it, but that cost is way to high for my blood for just a run by for a few hours.
