Should I do a railfan trip before, or after Christmas?
Should I do a railfan trip before, or after Christmas?
Is traffic best the 5 -7 days leading up to Christmas, or the 5-7 days after xMas? I know Christmas greatly impacts train traffic.

Shouldn't be any major difference, except the day or two to either side of Christmas - of course almost nothing will move between the evening of the 24th and the morning of the 26th.
Also, this sort of thread is best for Railfanning Information. If it isn't directly tied to a specific geographical region, it shouldn't be classified as such. Obviously, this question is not Ohio-specific and thus shouldn't be in this forum.

Or, don't sweat the difference and do both.
