This morning I went down to Howell to see the 1225 haul it's Melon Fest train rides. After riding the noon train, I went north of town and chased the 2PM train from Barron Road to downtown Cohoctah.
After that, I went to Durand Union Station and immediately saw 502 enter the yard with some cars, then leave the yard light, going back to the rest of it's train. The power was CN 2913 and CN 2858. 502 couldn't head down the Holly yet since 503 was lined up to come up to Durand and head west down the Flint Sub. After 20 to 30 minutes of waiting, 503 showed up with generic power but a very large train.
After that it was time to head home, but it was a good day of rail fanning!
