Are they actually stopping? I thought they didn't stop in Michigan, just Windsor - Chicago.

It doesn't stop it just goes by with the lights on, it's really something worth seeingDetNative wrote:Are they actually stopping? I thought they didn't stop in Michigan, just Windsor - Chicago.

Why doesn't CP do a stop in Michigan? I feel like a lot of people would show up with food donations.Wabash1070 wrote:It doesn't stop it just goes by with the lights on, it's really something worth seeingDetNative wrote:Are they actually stopping? I've never seen the CP Holiday train, but would that mean it goes through Elkhart on the 30th or the 29th? Does this train move track speed?

I'm only really familiar with the Plymouth Sub. Is it passing Whitmore Lake? If so, do you know about what time?Wabash1070 wrote:In Elkhart you are probably looking at midnight at the earliest, better bet ballpark 3-4am on the 1stMQT1223 wrote:I've never seen the CP Holiday train, but would that mean it goes through Elkhart on the 30th or the 29th? Not Whitmore Lake, no; Great Lakes Central goes near Whitmore Lake. The CP Holiday train will run from Detroit towards Elkhart on the NS Wabash line, which passes through Romulus, Milan, Adrian, and Butler IN.J3rsdm5 wrote:I'm only really familiar with the Plymouth Sub. The CP "Holiday Train" stopped in Detroit in 2002! I was there to photograph it. They were "Promoting" their new Intermodal Yard near the old Michigan Central Station.
I think that was the only year they stopped in MI!!!!
