Hello,
Does anyone have any track maps for the DT&I Tecumseh Branch? I have tried in vain, with little or no success at trying to find info on this subject. Google maps are of no help because the line is gone, except for a short segment from a connection with the Adrian & Blissfield (former Lenawee County) to Norfolk Southern in Adrian. An Aerial site showed a photo of Napoleon, Ohio and the Campbell Soup plant trackage circa 1974, but they watermarked the hell out of the photo, it is hard to make out the trackage in the area. I am interested in the line from Napoleon, Adrian, and Tecumseh; showing all trackage, main, sidings, and spurs to industries. Also, does anyone have access to the DT&I Track Location Diagrams Schematic Book? Any info would help, meanwhile I keep searching. Thanks.

This site has topo maps that show everything you ask.
https://ngmdb.usgs.gov/topoview/viewer/ ... 3/-83.9577
Click on the map at a location and all the available maps are shown on the right side. I filter (click) the 24k button because they have the most detail.

The GTWHS has copies of the DT&I station trackage maps for sale, IIRC. Can't remember if they include the Tecumseh Branch.

James;
Map data is available at the U.S. Geological Survey website, “BUT”… quite difficult to locate unless you leave your girlfriend,
get a divorce, quit your job, dropout of school, and pack plenty of supplies for survival while searching for the data with your computer.
It’s there. You have to search for it.
I have the entire DT&I system (except Ann Arbor era to Frankfort) in PDF format from the USGS.
The attached (zoomed in) screen shot gives you an idea of the amount of detail to expect if you decide to launch into this daunting map adventure.
Good luck; be sure to write occasionally to let us know you’re okay, and if you don’t happen to return in a couple of months, one can only guess,
you’re still at the site, searching.
Subtract about 32 percent from the above exaggeration ; )

Try this on for size. There are a few other references on the site as well

Q: Does anybody have an apple?
A-1: I have a pear.
A-2: I collect oranges. Maybe they'll help you.
A-3: You should try these grapes.

I might have a copy that I can scan in and e-mail to you. I'll have to do some digging down in the basement to see first
