Progressive Rail Overview
Progressive Rail is a shortline railroad running in the twin cities area of Minnesota. PGR operates four branches around the southern twin cities.
The railroad sports a paint scheme similar to that of the Minneapolis, Northfield, and Southern Railway, as two of PGR’s rail lines are ex-MNS.
PGR Interchanges with CPKC in Rosemount, MN, Bloomington, MN, & Northfield, MN & UP in Northfield, MN.
The Jesse James Line and Fairbault Line are operated in conjunction with PGR's Cannon Valley Railroad.
