Conrail GP38-2 #5348 and GTW GP38-2 #4904

Conrail painted NS GP38-2 #5348, still with large Conrail lettering and can-opener logo, passes by a blue painted cousin: GTW GP38-2 #4904. CN schedules at least one interchange job each day with the NS at Oakwood Yard in Melvindale, where lengthy cuts of cars (mostly autoparts) are exchanged. The 5348 will soon have one of Oakwood Yard's many Lake Division locals departing the yard westbound. August 7, 2007.
