That has to be one of the longest Amtrack trains I have seen except for the auto train. Wonder what they were doing with it

looks to be a combined capitol limited/ lake shore limited, ot sure where, but sometimes they went on the MI line

The Lake Shore/Capitol detoured over the Michigan Line for three days in Feb. 2007 as the Water Level Route was snowed in and shut down in west Ohio and Indiana. This date was Feb. 25, 2007. Search for "29/49" to see some photos of this same train I took in Kalamazoo.
