TSBYHere's TSBY 394, 390, and 389 entering Sans Yard around 6pm with their 60 cars. By the smoke you can see the engines were putting on quite a show. It was a great ending to a great day. These pictures could not have been possible without Mike D Shepherd who has the knowledge to know where TSBY is and get us in the right place at the right time without interfering with TSBY's operations or trespassing! - D.S. TSBYMike D Shepherd had the actual count but I think it was a plastics covered hopper, a 86' hi-cube, 25 grain covered hoppers, 6 more plastic covered hoppers, a center beam, a cherry boxcar, 2 or 3 coke hoppers, 2 or 3 wood pole cars, and 20 sand covered hoppers. - D.S. Collection~Z~

TSBYAs the train departs you will notice theirs a plastics hopper on the front. This was in the original consist on the train TSBY brought back from the north. I think they left it on for the pick up to keep the weight of the engines off the siding which is not as built up as the main line. - D.S. Collection~Z~

TSBYHere Mike ran into Gene Zank and were talking while I snapped the TSBY pick up off Wright Siding. After the 26 car pick up had cleared the switch and reconnected to their train the conductor was walking towards the engines over 1/4 mile a way rather than the engines back up to him. He said that they had a 60 car train and the 25 empties on the head end and the 20 loads on the back would risk derailment if they backed up so walking was safer. I never realized there was so much to think about while operating a train safely! He told Mike that the single covered hopper was placed at Shepherd Elevator. On this day I think crews exchanged their trains in Mt. Pleasant. - D.S. Collection~Z~

TSBYMike and I almost gave up the chase but around 3:45 the southbound arrived at Wright siding with 394, 390, and 389 on the point. They were stopping to pick up one loaded 86' hi-cube and 25 empty covered hoppers all for interchange in Durand. - D.S. Collection~Z~

TSBYMike and I later caught 392 and 2681 along with their solitary covered hopper heading north by Wright Siding around 11:15am. - D.S. Collection~Z~

TSBYMike and I finally see TSBY's pick up from Sans Yard...one covered hopper. Mike and I both chuckle at the minute train for a pair of powerful GP35's! - D.S. Collection~Z~

TSBYMike D Shepherd and I see TSBY coming north through Ashley. The crew made a very brief and quick pick up :) at the Ashley party store right next to the tracks. - D.S. Collection~Z~
