Do you use a photo editing program?

GRHC - you know every night I can imagine he is in front of his computer screen sitting in his underwear swearing profusely and drinking Blatz beer combing the RailRoadFan website for grammatical errors.

Yes, I sure still use film! I have no plans to switch to Digital! Right now I only do basic "Color Adjusting" and/or "Lightening/Darkening!" My Dad, who I lost in a very bad car accident in 6-2009, taught me photography! I started when I was 6 in 1990 with a Canon Manual TX (and the rest is history)! I use 35mm and 120 Medium Format SLRs! Every picture I upload mentions the camera and film used! I have the negatives scanned professionally as "High Resolution" images! This year I may learn some Photoshop, which can be used for film! I won't do "Digital Editing" to change something—I want to show the scene how it is in real life!

To show scenes like they look in real life is the whole reason for digital editing. It's no different than developing film in a dark room. Cameras seldom capture exactly what our eyes see.

That is true! The part I don't like is "Editing Out Objects" and/or "Cloning" though! Sure, "Digital Editing" has the same concepts as the darkroom! There's always been "Editing" of some sort since Photography was started! I love Film Photography and every person may use what they want! I'm glad that many people are photographing—it's still an art! In the next few weeks, I'll have some shots developed of 765! Then later, a "Night Photo Shoot" at Mad River & Nickel Plate RR Museum in Bellevue, Ohio!

I have an EOS-3. That camera renders superbly. It also has AF point-linked spot metering. Amazing camera from late 1998.

I searched Canon's site and found they still manufacture this camera! :

I don't see film cameras going away! Sure, most people use digital for that "Instant Gratification," but to me there's just something about waiting for developing that I enjoy! There's times of bad shots—that really doesn't bother me! The description on my rrpix page mentions the film cameras I currently use: http://cooltrains.rrpicturearchives.net/
