Local modeler Tom Sawyer finished his O scale Pere Marquette 22 but found it takes
a bit too much space so it is now on display at P&D Hobby Shop in Fraser.
A little over 6 feet long with the apron and approach track taking another 3 feet. The ship
is of wood and styrene construction. The 3 idler flats were scratchbuilt and the coal bunker
car started life as a white metal ore car kit of unknown origin. There are 4 tracks inside.
The cars in the case below are also O scale so that can help give a sense of the size.

He said he spent about 4 years on and off working on it.
