Theirs a few miles of 75 # rail from River Rd. to where the new bridge over the tracks is, the state rehabed about 1 & 1/2 miles of track under the bridge & put down 90 # rail. GLC put in about 3000 ties in the last few years & dumped 10 cars of ballest on most of the cerves going out to Bates.
They actually had a 30 car ballast train to Bates when I saw it along 5 Mile Road. Not sure if they ran more than one or not though. But yes they are up here an average of twice a week now...
CEO of the Waving Institute- teaching great wave forms.
385 and 392 left for Clare at 1055 with 2 TSBY grain hoppers, 2 empty centerbeams, 3 covered hoppers (TRGX reporting marks), 1 tank car, 10 tie gons, 4 coke empties and 4 additional tanks.
Assuming the TRGX hoppers were for the feed facility. They went north yesterday before 0845.
395 and 396 return approximately 1645 with 5 TSBY grain hoppers, 2 tanks, 4 coke hoppers, 1 loaded centerbeam, 1 empty bulkhead, 9 lp tanks and 4 TRGX hoppers.
GLC took all of the stored coaches out to the end of the line at Yuma, to make room in north yard. Emt. sand car for storage should be coming soom. botlo.
I hiked past Amerhart on the rec trail today near Williamsburg. No rail equipment in the yard there. I do wonder why they have a short section of rail spotted near the switch sitting on two boards.

That would explain why I was hearing them all day in Cadillac Friday. North Yard sure looks different with them gone.
Drove greenville through lowell to GR today... Saw the track mobile switching king milling in lowell, but no GRE action. http://i.imgur.com/d2XpCQd.jpg
396 and 395 left for Clare at 1115 with 7 coke empties, 1 small tank and 11 lp tanks.
Didn't hear or see them Tuesday, assuming they went north. Heard them leave for Clare at 1215 Wednesday, no chance to see them. Yesterday they went north around 0920.
GLC returns to Cadillac at 1550. Looked like 395 and 396 with 2 coke hoppers, 1 tank car, 11 tie loads, 4 lp tanks, 1 loaded centerbeam, 1 pole flat for McBain and 1 short tank car.
