Beacon recycling
Dose anyone know what's happening with beacon?
Re: Beacon recycling
Sure. They buy various metals and sort, process, and sell to foundries when the price is right. Repeat over and over. And if its all just sitting in the yard, my guess if they have to find a buyer willing to pay a reasonable price.

Do you think they will continue rail shipments?TC Man wrote:Sure. They buy various metals and sort, process, and sell to foundries when the price is right. Repeat over and over. And if its all just sitting in the yard, my guess if they have to find a buyer willing to pay a reasonable price.

I'm not a fortune teller- but you can always contact Beacon and ask. Or sit back, relax, and observe. I am guessing that you are a teenager, so you have many years to watch and observe changes up here.

They shipped 3 cars to 2 different mills. I assume they were test runs but assuming can be wrong.

Just had 3 empty NS gondolas go north through Mount Pleasant about 10 minutes ago.
