I'm sure Bob has a log of them but there was one that left right after the first of the year from Webberville and before that, maybe one in December?
Just spitballing but Grand Ledge seems to have had less this year for some reason.

Something just passed south Lyon. No visual
Re: CSX Train Location Updates - January 2021
I'm guessing D705, it's about the right time, I heard it on my scanner so I'll update when I actually hear the train number.
Update: heard "...5 all stop, Rickett Rd" I'm guessing that's the distant signal to EE Brighton.
^nope, just stopped before Rickett Rd to stay off crossings, US-23 is what they call that set of signals.

d708 to d705 is being said on the scanner, d705 said they're getting on there train in 3 to 4 mins most likely meaning dropping cars maybe in Brighton, as well signal issues so new signals to the plymouth?

Re: CSX Train Location Updates - January 2021
D705 being held east of Brighton. D708 in Howell who brought 93 of its cars, the majority for GLC They currently have their two units, 388 & 4010 split apart at the GLC transfer to jockey the rest of the cars around to get them on the west end of there train and then head back west. amessmann, you must be refering to the train number he heard coming not the engine numbers. Why should D705 have anything different for power than what they have since Dec. 2nd. 738 on the lead, 3211 somewhere in their train. On 705-706 trains the only thing different day after day is how many cars they have on and where the DPU is which is about as boring as it gets.
Re: CSX Train Location Updates - January 2021
Just before Rickett Rd from what I understand, and yes I did mean the train number, I'll edit my post to correct that.

Andrew Trains Asks, and L.R.F respond: So for the Plymouth sub aren't we a few weeks behind on a grain train? If so anyone have a schedule on when they'll come
Grain Trains aren't regularly scheduled. They are ordered by the elevators as needed. I'm sure Bob has a log of them but there was one that left right after the first of the year from Webberville and before that, maybe one in December? Just spitballing but Grand Ledge seems to have had less this year for some reason.[/quote]
BL2 Says: From memory as L.R.F. says, we have had only one grain train in 2021 and for Webberville. Prior to Dec 31st I can go back through records for 50 years and 56 days to know what trains went by Howell. As of 1-1-21, I no longer am keeping daily logs. With 705-706 having the same power day after day, and D708 the same, I am wasting my time doing logs. When they cut off 328-329 back in April, it has been all downhill for me. At my age its time to scale down and give things up. While I am still reporting on things I see here, anyone wanting to know what ran before the first year while have to search railroad fan to find what they may want to know.

For the record, D705 had less than 100 cars and the DPU was on the rear.
