At East Saugatuck, mp33. Cab is here, is there a train needing a re-crew? Amtrak came by approx 07:13. West light is red. Do have a highball eastbound. Coal train? I hope so!!
Coal train at Wells headed East. D803 sounded like on the radio. The chase is on boys!
This is D803-26 with BNSF engine #5602 & CSX engines #3167 + #3440 & 130 loaded coal cars & rear dpu BNSF #9356. This was N801-26 that had tied down in Wells yesterday. The cab waits at Saugatuck until the loaded coal trains make it over the hill there - just in case there's an issue.

This train burned 2-3 hours of my time yesterday only to get tied down. Glad it was still there! Chasing it through Holland, up to West Olive. I heard the coal pile has been getting used up. The plant is running nearly full capt. I will look around snd see any evidence of that.
