C800 is at 0.15 mph trying to get over the hump at Hilltop. Lead locomotive misbehaving. If he does make it and get across the bridge, it seems doubtful he will get out of Benton Harbor.

Another 90 car grain empty went to Webberville overnight. G804-30 by Howell shortly after midnight, E.D.T. Major surprise because I do not think I ever seen a grain empty with DPU, (loaded potash trains yes, grain empty's no) but this one did. 7270 leading, 3219 on the rear. Train was spotted in the plaint and the main line cleared by 05:15, E.S.T. Crew had the power back together before spotting the train.

And… 40 minutes later, he has made it to St. Joe Bridge. Supposed to stop and call mechanical once he gets to Benton Harbor.

I was under the impression that those ES44C4 units weren’t allowed up here due to having those 4 traction motors versus the usual 6….

No word on 326 it seems?

The last time they ran an ES44C4 on a loaded coal train, the engineer had made that same comment - BNSF isn't supposed to use that type of engine on the loaded coal trains. If I recall, that train was on wet rails at Saugatuck & had stalled out (months ago).

No news for M326-06.
