L301-27 @ 10:08 Grand Rapids, Mi mark up with the RN Dispatcher: CSX engines #4057 + #2428 & 41 cars (27 loads + 14 empties) @ 4,288 tons & 2,559 feet long. He’ll head westward directly into Waverly mp CG22.8 & later westward to Hartford mp CG68.7 & Coloma mp CG76.7 & to Sawyer mp CG105.2

10:00 - Not sure what the story is, I’m sure someone will give it in great detail… sounds like U302 must have had to split their train at some point. They’re reassembling in South Lyon now.

L30226 had too much tonnage for the hill at Plymouth combined with the rain yesterday. Train makeup didn't allow for a shove up the hill either. Doubled half to South Lyon before they ran out of time last night to work. Had to wait for rested crew to finish the trip today.

Is this because of the tank cars on the tail end?
U302-26 thru WE Brighton at 11:42 with 114 cars.

L303-27 @ 14:07 Grand Rapids mark up with the RN Dispatcher with: CSX engine #3208 (solo) & 28 cars (10 loads + 18 empties) @ 1,962 tons & 1,705 feet long. He’s building his train. This engine had arrived Grand Rapids as solo power on G090-25 (empty grain train) on May 24th. He has No work for Lansing.

U302-26 @ 14:14 copied their EC1 at mp CH89.8 to proceed westward EAS Grand Ledge Holdout mp CH99.1 to EAS Lake Odessa mp CH121.7 with CSX engines #7567 + #5273 & 51 cars.

Note: this afternoon‘s train will be setting off 2 covered hoppers at the Van Den Bosch feed mill in Zeeland Michigan.

L303-27 @ 14:53 ready to depart Grand Rapids with CSX engine #3208 (solo) & 28 cars. He'll be meeting U302-26 along the way to Lake Odessa.

Note: Y121-27 headed east down to Plascore in Zeeland Michigan to drop off 1 covered hopper. I thought he was heading west and was leaving town but he slipped back past me heading east.
