Eastbound on Detroit Sun led by GP40-2. I think it’s a Local because it’s stopping at the Truss company in Livonia but it has 20+ cars .

L302-04 by Howell at 17:45 with returning power from yesterday's L303-03. 71 cars including 3 more scrap empties for Oghiara. At least got the numbers today on like the slew of cars that were on L302 yesterday that I didn't get any.

Maybe around 18:30, L305 took the siding at EE Trowbridge. They called as 4057 which further begs a question I had been meaning to ask;

A friend told me that on Wednesday night, he observed 4057 + 4061 in the yard at Ensel, in addition to 5489 + 5328. Why are there two sets of power? The GEs are not from the latest G077.

The original EMD set prior to the GEs had some sort of issue that I didn’t hear very well from the west side of the state. So a pair of GE was temporarily used to move L304-305’s cars than the GE set had issues so a new set was needed, which was why 4057 and 4061 was dropped in Lansing

09/21/24: L303-21 had CSX engines #5240 + #3447 + #5489 & 83 cars. He has work for Lansing - destination is Detroit

09/22/24: L303-22 had CSX engines #75 + #3248 + #5328 & 52 cars (has 2 sets of empty 5 pack Well cars). He has work for Lansing - destination is Detroit.

09/30/24: L303-30 had CSX engines #407 + #451 + #4061(?) & 46 cars. He has work for Lansing – final destination is Detroit

10/02/24: L303-02 had CSX engines #3035 + #4057 (elephant style) & 57 cars. (Assuming it was solo power after Lansing)
