Fort Worth and Western Railroad Overview
Fort Worth & Western Railroad began in 1988, and operates over 276 miles of track through 8 counties in North Central Texas, with their mainline running between Carrollton, TX and Brownwood, TX. In addition to their mainline, FWWR also operates branches between Dublin, TX and Gorman, TX; Cresson, TX and Cleburne, TX; as well as a spur to the Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant, and trackage rights from Brownsville to San Angelo Junction, utilizing BNSF trackage to interchange with TXPF, as well as trackage rights over TRE to provide freight service to the passenger corridor.
FWWR interchanges with
Union Pacific, BNSF, and CPKC at Fort Worth, TX and Texas Pacifico at San Angelo Junction, TX.
